H&D.C.A Highlights (taken from the minutes):

  1.  Ground  rent from the H&D Parish Council increased as from April. To counter this the N.F.D.C's local Presence's rent would be put up to £1100.00.
  2. Room hiring rates (other than for the N.F.D.C) did not go up this year.
  3. The H&D Community Association took over the running of the "Community Mini-buses" from T&W.C.C.S.
  4. Having served for 3 years the chairman: R. Knieriem gave notice that we couldn't serve another due to the constitution so Ray White took over.
  5. Membership was 734.
  6. In April the Community Care Group would transfer their Hospital Car Service to the Community Centre. It would become known as the "Community Car Group" and take up residence in the office of the Community Centre where it continues to run to this day. It also uses the same phone number.
  7. The new playgroup's toilets were installed by March with a sink to follow.
