Jack and Joyce Armitage would be on holiday for two weeks starting 18th of May. A lady called Patsy would act as cleaner while Joyce was away.

Jack would be away from the 20th October to the 2nd November.

The "playschool" was paying about £6.70 per session.

The question was asked as to whether the "old" library would be available to use during rebuilding. The library had moved to a new building so the old one was empty. By the time the Community Centre was being rebuilt the "old" library and neighbouring C.A.B hut had long since been demolished.

Radiator "pins" needed cleaning.

Switch in office needed replacing.

A monthly "draw" would start in March. By November the "F" draw had been completed and "G" draw would happen in Dec. £340 had been donated to the H&DCA. The organisation of the draw would be done "in-house" from then on but with Sylvia Barton still organising it.

The Community Centre would be closed for Christmas between the 23rd of December 1997 and the 5th of January 1998.
